Classic sets apply one extension to each natural lash, resulting in a more subtle look. On the other hand, hybrid sets involve one-by-one placements and two to four light flares that provide maximum fluffiness and curl; this is great for those wanting a dramatic yet complete look.

Lash extensions are fibers that are glued onto the natural eyelashes to create a thicker, longer eyelash. However, lash extensions can damage or rip the natural lashes. If natural eyelashes are lost due to lash extensions, they typically grow back in a few months.

Because extensions are attached to the lash itself, they last as long as the natural growth cycle, or about six weeks. To extend the life of the extensions, Richardson recommends using a lash conditioner (yes, it exists!) and to gently comb through your lashes with a dry spoolie brush.

And they're way easier to apply: Just line your lash line with three coats of the included magnetic eyeliner, layer on some majorly thick and volumizing mascara, then place these faux-mink lashes along the outer edges of your liner for the full cat-eye effect.
